Sci-fi/fantasy book pilot that originally takes place in medieval Scotland. Martain Riddel has to go through hell and high water to save his childhood sweetheart; the badassed archer Madelyn, before he is eventually transported to the distant future.

These books are actually limited edition, because in the actual book series, the plot went a slightly different direction, and Madelyn was made more traditional for her time period, yet a stronger, more important character.
