Lol why the police talk? Filing a missing letter report at the police does nothing. Unless it's something illegal to ship or a check that's been cashed the FBI wouldn't be involved at all. I've had items go missing and had items sent to me go missing. It doesn't happen often but it does happen. Once a letter package I shipped ended up in the winners neighbors mailbox, which she later found. And I've spoke with the post office about missing and lost items. They have a place I believe she said in alabama, that all Lost mail, non addressed mail, loose items that fell out of mails, etc go, pretty much anything that can not be Confirmed to deliver. She called it the Dead Mail Dept. If u have a item missing from a package that's damaged or never received a item that was shipped , she said to call your post office tell them u want to make a report for a missing letter/package. They will have u call another number to give the specific details on the package, the kind of envelope, where it was being shipped from, what's inside it etc. After about a week they will call u back to let u know if they found it or not. If not -- they will give u the number to the dead mail dept, and u can call them to make a report. They will notify u if anything simular comes to their dept for verification. Sometimes a simple call to the p.o. finds it quick, as it could have been pushed aside accidentally.

Correct, however I think of it as the same as if I had a actual credit card... for example, if I had a WALMART CREDIT CARD -not a gift card but a actual credit card, than I would ONLY be able to use it at walmart. I would not be able to go to Kmart and buy items with my WALMART credit card. Well listia is the same way. It's like having CREDIT for listia only, they can't be used elsewhere, but can only be used here, just like other store credit cards are.
But I agree as for the buyers not always HONEST. I learned the hard way years ago when I first started listia. I noticed that most of the people who are trusted listian, they have been here a while and have a lot off good feedback are typically honest in receiving the items. It's the new members who have 50 or less sells n buys on listia who are sometimes dishonest. Not all!! I've met great newer members and met rude senior members, it truly just depends. I used to only get tracking on items going to winners with 50 or less sells/buys, this helped me a lot.
