Do you know anything about this group of pictures? Even city of origin would be useful. I am a History person and love the tales of families. Thanks

7 years ago I purchased a box lot of photos. I started to do some reach because there were several pictures from WWII along with an Army hat, a belt and a full pack of Lucky Strikes. The young soldier in the photos had a pack of Lucky Strikes rolled in his t-shirt sleeve. I thought this guy has a family that wants these photos. Along with those photos were pictures of prize winning cows and race horses from back in the late 1800's to the early 1900's and a bunch of newspaper clips from horse races. I figured out these people were from Connecticut and had money. I did find out the soldier's name, but can't remember it now. I passed all the WWII stuff on to a collector friend and all the horse photos on to another collector friend. The photos here do have writing and family names on the back of them. Photos are someone's family history and the Auctioneer told me he went in and purchased the whole house, photos, furniture and all. To me it's sad, but now they can find a new family to enjoy them..

I only ship to the U.S. The second picture could be Queen Elizabeth. There were also a lot of Rex Harris photos in the box.

It's sad that you wasn't able to find the family these belong to. I would love to have old family pictures of my ancestors. I lost everything to a house fire a year and a half ago including all my ancestors items. Kills me knowing they can never be replaced. So much history in these photos. I absolutely love them!

I lost a lot of family photos due to flooding, those are things you can't replace. It's sad that as the generation go by people don't keep these family treasures.
