I am a long time calligrapher and I have owned the best of the best when it comes to fountain pens. The first set of calligraphy fountain pens I ever owned was a Platignum and til this day, I still have it and I find that I still prefer the feel and sharpness of the lettering from these pens than many other brands. It's not the best of the best, but compared to the Manuscript brand (or any other found in your local craft stores) they are a far better choice. This particular brand from what I know, is no longer being manufactured, so I searched for it on eBay and found a seller from England that had a surplus stock and I purchased several sets.

This set is manufactured in the UK. It is brand new in its original packaging. The set contains the following:

-pen body with a screw cap
-4 italic Nib units in different widths
-nib key for easy nib change without the mess of ink getting on your hands
-2 disposable ink cartridges
-1 ink convertor to use with bottled inks
-instruction booklet
