Up for auction is 1 WiFi card for laptops and netbooks with a PCMCIA slot. Perfect for those without built-in, or damaged, WiFi.

It uses the 802.11b standard, and is capable of a maximum speed of 11 Megabits per second.

I used this for a few years, and when the laptop died, it went into a plastic ziplock bag, then into a drawer.

Would this work with Windows XP?

I don't know, probably.

It didn't come with a driver disk, but was still plug and play in Windows 98. Though I think I had to hook it up to my network through a physical Ethernet cable so it could download the drivers.

I did a quick google and the first link led me to this page that has drivers for Windows 7 and 8, and claims it's compatible with Linux.
