Yes, it seems like since they've been doing the retail 4-packs, puzzles are easier to complete. Which is good I guess but does take a bit of the fun out of it. Techinically speaking it is probably because there is less randomization in how the cards are sorted into the smaller packs. Newer WP Series puzzles (after 2008) are number ordered (i.e. #1-9 or #92-100 = a complete puzzle; non-puzzle are grouped together too like #28-55 in 2015) therefore getting 4 cards numbered in close proximity means that you are more likely to get matching pieces. The Go-Dirt (2004) puzzle above was made up of cards #1, 6, 10, 17, 23, 28, 32, 45 and 51. As the ANS1 series had 55 cards and 3 puzzles, I think it would have taken about 8-12 retail packs (6 cards-the only way they were sold) to find all the pieces and the likelihood of finding the good inserts was higher. Now, unless someone goes out and buys a whole case/box of the special "collector" or "hobby" editions to find anything beyond the common set. Oh well. I try to keep real low-key about it, don't get bummed if I miss out on a certain auction or whatever, and just remind myself that I collect them because they're fun!!

I collect them cause it's fun! I frame my complete puzzles and started with the intention to use the food stickers on my kitchen cabinets and the others on my bathroom door lol I haven't stuck any to anything yet and have just been crazy collecting at this point it hurts to even think about sticking them anywhere lol

Oh, I need the top one to finish this Go-Dirt puzzle from 2004! Isn't it funny how differently people collect WPs? I love the puzzles myself. I have at least 15 complete and partial/pieces from just about every one they ever put out. I would rather have a whole series' set of puzzles than than say spend the extra money of the rare parallels. Thank you so much for posting these. Really. I love that there is such a vibrant WP community on here. And since many of us trade in bundles it means that we re-list our duplicates and share the fun all over again! For instance, since I already have the #10 card, it will got into a Listia auction of its own! :)

Yes, exactly! Framing is a good idea! I have all my finished ones in a binder in the 9-card holders. I had the same issue about not wanting to actually stick them to anything, then decided to use a couple of my duplicates to put a few up around the house. It is addictive once you start, LOL. One option is to stick them to a study clear piece of shiny non-stick plastic (think something laminated) then you can use rubber cement to put it up on the fridge or lots of different surfaces knowing that you will be able to carefully remove it (rubber cement is amazing!) without damaging the sticker itself (since he back is actually stuck to the laminated plastic. It is essentially like it still being on the card except you get to really see the shape and aren't stuck with the thickness of the cardboard. Next time I put some up I will post pics of how I have mine up at home. :)
