Would make a great addition to a rare book collection.
I don't know if there are any rare book collectors out ther, but I have a "Uncle Tom's Cabin" book from a christmas gift to someone in 1918. Perhaps it is even older.
Is anyone out there interested?

Yes, I would have to say that it has been "damp". On the top right of the book,starting at the right side of the L in Family. Going down towards the boat, you can see it has been wet. Then on about the first 45 pages you can see darker shades at the top of the pages(half moon shaped stains) where it has been "damp". The reason I say "damp" is because you can tell it wasn't wet bad. For lack of a better word it looks like "sweat" marks. LOL! The pages have not swollen. It has no doubt been wet though,but besides the discoloration of the pages it hasn't caused other damage. I would consider on the dust cover that you can see water spot on 10% of it. Far right hand side. Then on book pages very, very little.1-2% at top. If its an 8 inch page, there is a 1/2 inch,half-moon shaped mark about 2-3 inchs long on 40-50 pages. I will get my wife to take some up-close pics and post them if not too late to do so,of the top of the pages. If I had to grade them I would say the dust cover is in Good shape and the book was in Very Good shape. Hope this helped a little. Check back and I will get more pictures on it if I am allowed.
