What are the coins made of?

I was told either polished brass or gold plated. Each coin or token is inside a plastic capsular.

f/w. seen the questions about what these are made of. i actually own 2 different sets of them and did some research at one time on them. i was told that the coins are actually bronze, and that they have a very thin layer of 24kt gold on top. that is what gives them the shine. and they have some weight to them when in hand, as i stated i have 2 other sets like these from same casino. thought it might help. might bid coming soon. :-)

oh forgot to note that these are from a casino in minnesota and not las vegas. at first i thought vegas when i got mine but was wrong and in fact the grand that gives these out is in minnesota. and they are called strike coins. there was a few ways of getting them i hear. one by winning a big jackpot compliments of the casino and i have also heard they can be gotten in the gift shops there. and they come in several themes. just another note on them. hope you do well on them :-)
