2 Broken Iphone 4 8gb AT&T

Bought both at a yard sale. Both are the same model that was running with AT&T service. They are 8gb. One phone is heavily damaged, both front and back are shattered. Doesn't connect to iTunes, but I can see the backlight lid when plugged into an outlet. The second phone is in good condition. Phone was working fine, I was also able to receive call and everything until the next morning, I can't pass the apple logo screen. I did managed to restore and update the phone and get into the main menu but it will restart and stuck with the apple logo again. From searching through google, this could be a battery problem. I don't have the tools to attempt fixing either of these units. Units are sold for parts so there's no return or refund. No accessories or anything else included.
