this unit works great recording VHS programs and I will include several VHS tapes that I have been recording on. It is heavy well built and has a remote with it

I will if the DVD doesn't work, and I will have it all tested before I send it out to the winner, and if anything doesn't work I won't send it out

No, the gentleman who said he would test it for me is on vacation and should be back sometime next week and he said he would come over and get it and make sure everything is working okay

yes, that part works fine. I just had the unit hook up a few days ago to finish looking at the tapes I had recorded some of my shows before cox changed to digital, I wanted to be able to see them all, so my grandson hooked it up to a small tv in the bedroom and I watched several tapes and it played good. So you are in luck the VHS works great. I think I have a VHS cleaner also, that I will send along with it.

Well like i said I am going to take it in to my neighbor soon as he gets in and have him check to make sure it is working. If you get it I will tell him you are more interested in the VHS to clean it for me

the model is DVD-V4600A, you will have to check, I never did it and never tried so can't say but you can find the manual online because that is where I downloaded it

No I had it tested and now it is boxed and packed ready to mail out when someone gets it. The DVD side does not work, but the VHS side works and records.
