not sure if its 4 or 4s and it does come on as seen in pic but touch on it does not work so prob needs a new screen with lcd so im doing for credits

Since I know about iPhones I can tell you that RealestPerson is correct. Simply having a SIM card slot doesn't mean it's a 4S. Awesome auction! F&W!

no that's wrong if it has a sim card slot than its a gsm as in T-Mobile or at&t carrier iPhone . if your iPhone has siri on it and can go above ios 7.1.2 than its a iPhone 4S and if not its a iPhone 4.

Caution last minute snipers. Nobody has asked about any faults. Besides cosmetic damage, does the phone power on and does the screen function properly? Does it charge, or just power on to the screen pictured (indicating bad battery). Original carrier? Any modifications to stock (out of box) operating system?

A1387 = iPhone 4s (CDMA) A1431= iPhone 4s (GSM)

So it's a CDMA phone, but 100% sure it's a iPhone 4S, regardless of sim card slot or no sim card slot.
