I crocheted this NEW Sweater to sell for consignment. This was only worn ONCE, for these pictures. My model here, in these pictures, is my little 'Peanut', she is almost 4 pounds. Peanut is a Mini Pinscher Chihuahua Mix {AKA: a Chi-pin} and this sweater fits her very well, just n case you are wondering what size it fits.
** I also would like to add that it would fit a smaller dog, & a bit larger too, as the sweater can stretch, however, they can't have a huge head, so I put Peanut in it for reference}.
I made this using 4 different yarns together, to make this Ultra Thick & Warm, & this one is super soft too. I also made an Amazingly Beautiful, as well as very strong & sturdy, LEASH TO MATCH the SWEATER too!!! And boy do I get A LOT of orders, & a lot of compliments on these!!! sets!!! I get new custom orders almost every time I take my puppies to the dog park, the sweater/leash combos are verrry popular!!!
I sure hope that you can see all of the sparkle in this sweater; I used 4 very very expensive yarns to make this; 2 velour-like chenilles, an eyelash yarn, a velour that sparkles like its coated with tiny diamonds, and a super soft faux fur called 'Dream' {because it is dreamy to work with and to wear, it is sooo super soft & fluffy}. THIS is NOT a cheap, or flimsy, little sweater!! THIS sweater is super plush & cozy, and super classy!!!
This thick chenille & eyelash yarn crocheted 5' LEASH is so amazing too. I made a handle that is perfect to hold, it is soft and comfy, and soooo beautiful. YOU have never seen such a beautiful set.

& YOUR PUPPY WILL ABSOLUTELY TURN SOME HEADS IN THIS SET!!! Trust me ......I see it all the time!!!

harnesses are now recommneded for smaller and medium dogs and hte head harness were the leash goes gently around the mouth of hte bigger dos is reommended forr the bigest dogs beuase too much pressure on the trachea can seriously damage the pipe and seriously injre yuod ogs. and smaller dogs are knowsn to have collapsed trachease. that is a thing where the trachea never frimed jup and hardened like it was supposed to but can be pressed up anid start to shut to limit or preven breathing, so that is why harness are recmmded and safer for asmsller dogs, and you can always yank them ina na ememrgncy and have the pressure of the ynak distriubjere over seveal places oon teh body cuaising little if any seroiud injury or damage to puppy/dog. and the head harness is good for contorlling bigger dogs wihtout injruing htem either, and makess it esaise to lead htem where you want the to go instad of htem leading you.
i want this and lucy says she wants it but hten sparkels my 9 lb serciouc e dog schnoodle wasy she wants one too. so i need 2 smaller one and alitlte bit gbigger one, so keep on placing htem out and dont forgt about the etsy.com good luck an hugs.

Thank you soooo much. I am painfully disabled and MUST keep myself busy, so I began crocheting after my last double spinal fusion, after that, I have been dealing w severe neuropathy in both feet & legs!!! So, crocheting {& now listia} keeps me really busy!!! I taught both of my daughters {19&25yrs}, one got it and one made a scarf that kept getting more & more narrow {SHE didn't count her stitches! ahaha}. I guess it IS for some and ISN'T for others ...right?!! I must admit though, after I tried this on Peanut for these pictures, I ALMOST decided NOT to list it here, because it fit her sooooo good and it IS Soooooo AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL {if I do say so myself}!!!!!
I will have to make another one like it. Although the one hot pink sparkly shiny yarn, I used w the others is NOT available any more, it is hot pink, super sparkly & shiny and super soft as well ...I LOVED that one yarn so much!! I used that one, along with another reeeeally great specialty yarn to make that leash too, and that leas is nice & thick with a built in handle which will NEVER come undone. fanned and watching, waiting for reply her befoer i start bidding, you do beutiufl work honey i ma impreseed, now my question how easy is thi yarn to pull. i have 10 dogs in my pack from our new chi 4.1 lbs (lucy) to our 22.5 ital greyhound rascla. and 8 more inbetween plus we foster dos. now my dogs all lvoe to play and paw at each other and nip at each other, so i am concerned about how easy it is to have pulls in it. as beauful as it is, i woul hate to spend the points and have it full of pulls from hard play, i know no uaanatess, but if you sang a hangnail on it and it pulls it inst fo me, if a dog an ply and roll outside with minial pulls hta i am biddin to win. we have 3foster dogs from ahaord ring now and they dogs have no maneers paw at you with their paws nto claws to eat, drink to get you r attntnion too munny. awy tae care and good luck hope you do lsot. ps look for a private message for me. thanks sharon

GOOD QUESTIONS YOU HAVE!!!! I take my 5 dogs to the dog parks in theirs, and they frolic with each other all over the place!!! These don't pill up at all, AND they are super sturdy, MADE TO LAST & LAST!!! JUST DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER, then you are good to go. My dogs STILL wear the sweaters that I made them when I began making them 6 years ago!!!!! Now, if your other dogs CHEW IT UP, I can't help anyone with that ...lol Thank you for watching, & I think that LUCY would fit in this PERFECTLY, SHE IS THE PERFECT SIZE FOR THIS ONE, That's For Sure!!!

I have several more made, I have 2 more Pink ones coming up actually, and they are sooo gorgeous, &. NO 2 have been alike yet either!!! I just want to make sure that I get enough credits to make it worth it. I use MANY PRICEY YARNS TOGETHER, to make each one and I want to be sure that this would be a good way to go with these. thats cute but i think a lash would be much safer what happends if the dog pulls and it breaks off the sweater and runs in front of a car and gets hurt its no knowing to happend if callers arent safe now a days good look

Well ......first of all i have a mini pinscher, look up that breed & 1st thing they say is "...do not even try to use a collar on min pins, use a harness, or they will break 7 run away. well, i use these all the time with my crazy little min pin & these sweater & leash sets work out even better for us!!! there's no breakin' out 'til i let him out. and i walk 5 dogs to the puppy park in them all the time. good question though!!!

Awwwww ...Angel Baby!! How adorable!!! As or Big sweaters/coats ...my very 1st 'custom order' was for a 7 month old HORSE ...I mean GREAT DANE!!!! {same thing though, compared to the size of OUR puppies, right?!! Ahahha!!! I DO have to see how it goes here on Listia though, because these take a lot of time ...& materials!!!

Such a good question, point for you!!! Yes they can be washed in the washer - cold water is always best, BUT NEVER PUT IT IN THE DRYER. I dry my handmade things on a towel, to air dry!!!

NO, but just wait until you see the next pink one that WILL fir her. I am holding back to make sure I get a lot of bids for these ...they DO take a long time & many very expensive specialty yarns to make each one. You can actuallly see part of the pink one that WILL fit your li'l one.
Look in the pictures with Peanut wearing the Pink sweater, she is standing on another hot pink sweater with hot pink & purple LONG FUR Trim, it is actually my verrrrrrrry favorite sweater. In fact, I love it soooo much that I made an amazing long scarf for the puppy's mama, that matches it, and THEY ARE SOOOOOO FABULOUS!!!!!
