I think the M/M must mean something else- I wondered about that, too... But this shirt fit me perfectly when I was a size 12/14, so I don't think it's a medium- not in this country, anyway.

You are probably right... I would say it could fit a 16, but there's no stretch to it so it would really depend on your body type
