This listing is for the crochet pattern to make this set of potholders....They are made using 100% cotton yarn ..3 layers of crochet makes them extra thick..great for protecting your hands or table/counter top from the heat.

i'm a knitting and basically just know how to crochet a boarder onto something and make a chain. my girlfriends and i are taking a beginners crochet class next weekend and i do love this so do you think it would work for a beginners pattern?

I'm sorry ...I wasn't thinking...sc =single crochet dc = double crochet they are your basic stitches..
