Description

The listing, 1 Pair - Silver Plated Dangle Earrings Fit European Charm Beads With Low *GIN*!!! has ended.

You are bidding on (1) one pair of:

Silver Plated Dangle Earrings That Fit European Charm Beads. They are a generous length, and able to hold several beads. I have included photos of a pair with beads on, to demonstrate their generous length. The beads shown are only for demonstration, and not included with your earrings. The photos shown without beads, are of the exact pair you are bidding on. The earring worn in the demonstration photo is NOT the one you are bidding on. I am clarifying, so you can be assured that the pair you are bidding on is new, and unworn.

These 'starter earrings', will help you make the PERFECT 'Gift from the heart.' Nothing says 'personal', more than personally selecting the very beads you know the recipient will love!

Material: Silver Plated Copper(Lead and nickel free)
Size: Approx: 70mm long (1 1/4" of actual space for beads)
Hole size: 1.4mm Thickness: 3mm
conversion : 1 inch = 25.4mm or 1mm = 0.0393 inch

The end of the chain screws off, and the snake chain fits beads with a hole size of 4-5mm.

I will include one pair, of your choice of either Gold or Silver toned spacers/stoppers, that you put on first to keep your European beads from sliding up onto the hook. Please state your choice at the close of the auction. If you are giving these as a gift, and require a gift box, please let me know and I will ship in a cotton filled foil covered gift box. Otherwise, I will ship in a pretty drawstring organza bag.

As stated, shipping is free, and comes with Delivery Confirmation. I ship in a 'bubble mailer', on the next Postal business day after I have your Listia verified shipping address.

The $11.50 Flat Rate for International shipping, is to pay for the Registry service that will make the package traceable. I will pay the ordinary International shipping charge myself.

Thanks for stopping by, and happy bidding!

They are actually European style beads. You can get them at Michaels, Jo Ann Fabrics & Crafts, and even Walmart sells them. Any European style bead, like 'Pandora' or 'Troll' beads will fit. Its the ones with the larger holes. I've even bought some on EBAY at a very reasonable price. Thank you for asking, this was a good question :-)

Why in the world would it take $11.50 for shipping? They probably don't even weigh 2 ounces with the packaging.

You are absolutely correct. The $11.50 charge, as explained in the description, is only for the 'Registry' service fee, that is necessary to make international shipping 'traceable'. The only other alternative available that will make the package 'traceable', is International Express Service @ $24.79, and that includes the online purchase discount. It costs $26.95 if you take it to a Post Office. However, if you simply 'Register' your package at the regular First Class postage rate, it only costs $11.50. That amount is ONLY for the Registry service ... I myself, pay the ordinary shipping charge for International Shipping. I am only charging for Registry service.

Yes ... it is possible to send something WITHOUT paying for tracking services, but it I did, I would be leaving myself wide open for someone to 'scam' me. It says right in Listia's rules, that disputes filed for packages that do not have Delivery Confirmation numbers, are usually settled in favor of the winner. Would you take a chance on sending something without protecting yourself with a tracking number? I prefer to follow Listia's rules, and protect myself.

Thank you for asking this very good question. It helped me to explain more fully, my reason for Registering the package. On occasion, I have agreed to ship Internationally without tracking ... but only if the winner agreed to click the 'got it' button and leave positive feedback prior to my shipping the item. I don't think it would be 'right' of me to 'ask' someone to do that ... but if they wish to offer, I would agree to ship. When I do it that way, the clerk at my Post Office takes a photo of me mailing the package (with the address & postage showing), then I send the photo to the winner. It is a bit of additional work on my part, but I don't mind doing it if someone wants me to ship using that method.

Again,
Thank you for the very good comment.
