Nice flattened elongated souvenir penny from Belmont Park in San Diego, of the famous roller coaster there called the Giant Dipper. The design shows the roller coaster inside a circle in the center. It reads "Giant Dipper" around the circle and San Diego CA across the bottom. Belmont Park is one of the oldest amusement parks and has one of the oldest roller coasters still operating. It is located in the San Diego harbor, right on the water.
The penny used for this design is an uncirculated 1974 copper penny.
