Nice flattened elongated souvenir penny from the U.S.S. Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum in San Diego CA. Shows an image of the ship in the ocean with aircraft flying overhead. It reads "USS Midway San Diego" across the top. Located in the San Diego Harbor also near the Maritime Museum, tours are available on the USS Midway.
The penny used for this design is an old copper penny, the date is barely visible on the back, it appears to be 1973 or 1975.
