if it is a baking tray, it has to be oven safe right? are we sure it's an oven tray and not just a tray for carrying your food to your table or chair?

I checked those links but no real explanations there. microwave cooking makes sense I guess, but I don't see it;s purpose. anything you can cook on it in the microwave can just be placed on the glass plate. I wish it was for the oven.
