Conair flat Iron. Plates are an inch and a half thick I believe. This flat iron still works great, I just got a new one for my birthday, so I don't have any use for this one. It has a dial for heat settings that go up to 25.

Yes. It is the same as a standard 1inch flat iron, it is just thicker so you straighten more hair with each pass.

For about 3 years. I did not use it daily. There is no wearing on the plates, like some get with extreme use. It still works and straightens hair great.
