Yes the top covers my belly! It's just a short top, stops about right at the end of belly. Yes the shorts are a ladies 18. I lost weight and got down to a 14 by next summer, so tags are still on them. The shirt I gently used. Barely cuz I didn't have anything to go with it :-(. And it's really really soft!
