Description

The listing, ** Brand New in Package Fisher Price Thomas the Tank Engine Train Toy ***** has ended.

Here's your chance to bid and win this toy for a very lucky Thomas fan. This is a very cute, brand new in package, Thomas and Friends Whistle and Go train engine. It is made by Fisher Price.

You can call it a remote control train engine / car except you don't need a track, and there are no complicated buttons to press. A kid simply blow the cute Black Sir Topham Hat whistle and the train will move. That's pretty amazing! It takes 2 AA Batteries (sorry not included since I will be ordering it from the store and ship to you directly)

Whistle once and Thomas will roll forward. Whistle again and Thomas stops. Whistle twice slowly and Thomas reverses and turns left and continues to do so until you whistle again.

Package says for 18 months and up. It's rare to find Thomas toy suitable for such a young age. I'd say it's for any baby / toddler / kid that can blow whistle.

Free shipping is to USA only. I will even ship to Alaska and Hawaii. Yay! I listed longer days for others to have a chance to get more credits.

If you cannot wait, use the GIN now! Or else someone else might use the GIN and end the auction early, leaving some dissapointed watchers behind.

Good Luck!

Why am I listing this?
Everyone is doing Christmas shopping for kids but there aren't many toys auctioned in Listia. You tried searching Fisher Price, Vtech, Leap Frog, Lego, Barbie, Xbox, Nintendo DS, Wii, whatever toys and gadgets kids these day play with, still nothing good shows up. I know that feeling. So, I decided to buy one a Thomas train for a lucky kid and list it in Listia.

Does it say what age it's appropriate for? My 4 yr old loves Thomas but if he's too old for it I don't want to take it away from a smaller one who would like it better!

Box says 18month + but I honestly don't think a kid that young knows how to blow the whistle to control the train. I bought a lot of these to give away at a party and mostly 3-6 years old. They all love it. I think 4 year old is the right age to understand how to blow and control the train. Of course younger kids will find it fun just to blow the whistle to see the train moves. If this auction goes well I will list more. So people that have credits and want it can get another chance.

Hi Gigi.. Welcome to Listia. GIN is short for "get it now". what it means is that while some people are bidding on the item, you can choose to use GIN to automatically end the auction and get the item. Its the minimum number of credits the seller wants for the item. After you get going well, you can earn the right to use GIN on your own auctions but it does cost ya a few credits to use it yourself but not anything extra when you use to get the item now. =) hope this helps
Nov 13th, 2011 at 4:21:42 PM PST by
Original
Thanks for the explanation. Yes, seller have to pay 10% in points to Listia if GIN is used.
Nov 13th, 2011 at 7:20:45 PM PST by
Original
I am new to Listia...can someone explain to me what GIN is all about. I keep seeing it on different auctions..and have no idea what it is.
Nov 12th, 2011 at 7:11:01 PM PST by
Original
GIN means Get It Now. If you are familiar with eBay's Buy It Now, it is something similiar except you buy it now with your points. If you have enough points, you can use that option and the auction will end right away. Otherwise you will have to wait and bid and hope you win. Hope that helps.
