Don't leave them on when bathing, and keep them clear of cosmetics, and hairspray. At the end of the day, just use a damp cloth and wipe them down, before storing them away.

925 means sterling silver not plated as u stated 925 means 92.5% silver the other 7% is base alloy! It is not plated 925

I am not a 100% sure what its made out of...
Yes, it can be plated and marked 925... China's laws are different from ours, they can plate it with sterling silver and Mark it 925.
In the US... If its marked 925, it had better be sterling..
Not sure on which country made this... But Very Pretty!

Take a magnet to it if it sticks to magnet it is NOT silver 925

Ok... I did take a magnet and run it on the Bracelet.... The only part that sticks ( a little) is the toggle and connection piece (The stamped piece)... But the Bracelet itself does not stick...

International law in China means nothing... They figure if they plate it with sterling silver then they can stamp it... I have several pieces, that prove that....

You can test silver with a very strong magnetic . If it does not try to pick it up its .925 if it tries to pick it up but won't hold to the magnetic its silver plated and if it picks it up then its fake . I deal in silver and gold and that's the way we check it if its stamped then do the real chemical test to 100% confirm. The magnetic test has never failed

Then its real lots of clips is fake that's very normal with silver in a lot of cases

i have recently heard that there is a company, overseas, named "925" so they are making pieces of non silver jewelry, but marking it 925. of course as you said, in China (overseas) the regulations are more lax than here. i know with gold jewelry, they put on a real gold clasp, marked, 14K, to make you believe the whole piece is gold. either way, it is very beautiful. good luck with it. i will be bidding.
