Up for auction is a "USED" SAFETY 1ST BABY MONITOR. I bought this baby monitor about 3 1/2 yrs. ago when my granddaughter was about 6 mos. old. It's only been used about a dozen times when I'd keep her and my grandson overnight. Except for some yellow discoloration it's in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or broken parts. My granddaughter is now 4 yrs. old and it's just been sitting around not being used. Both the monitor itself and the base unit both work off of a DC power cord and the monitor can also be used completely portable with the use of a 9V battery. It also has a belt clip that keeps it at hands reach when you need to be in different rooms while it's in use. This is great when your newborn is sleeping or toddler is napping. It also works great with adults. When my parents were alive, both were in poor health, my mom was paralyzed and bed confined and in need of constant caregiving 24/7. I spent every other weekend staying and taking care of my parents and we had one at their house which was used constantly. They're a wonderful tool to have around if you have a need for it. I did mention before that there's some discoloration which in no way affects the operation of the base unit or monitor. It's simply from being left out when not being used instead of being put away. However I've had them put up in a zip lock bag for about the last 10 - 12 months now so as not to discolor anymore. It's not very noticeable but I know it's there and regardless of a little or a lot I wouldn't consider listing it without making it known to all who read my auction.
