The listing, Fixer Uppers or Just Parts~ Compaq Presario V2000 has ended.

***No Hard drive*** This was a really great computer for me and I had just had a new disk drive installed when the hard drive went. I just got a new computer so I am not going to be fixing this one. It would be good for someone to use for parts or just get a new hard drive. It's pretty dated but is still good for surfing the net. Missing three keys from the keyboard : backspace, an arrow button and
I believe an enter button.
OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows XP Home
PROCESSOR: Intel Pentium M 710 -- 1.4 GHz
SCREEN: 14.0" WXGA Widescreen (not the BrightView)
MEMORY: 256 MB SDRAM (1x256)
HARD DRIVE: 40 GB 4200 rpm
CD DRIVE: DVD/CD-RW combo drive
BATTERY: 6-cell lithium ion
WIRELESS: Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG WLAN (without Bluetooth).
I am also including an AT&T Samsung Strive that my son dropped. It will turn on but It won't start up. It too could be used for parts or maybe you can fix it. It takes a sim card, not a touch screen phone. Thanks for looking!

You removed the hard drive -- So it should not be listed -- And if there is no Hard Drive there is no Operating System

The first thing in my description says **No Hard drive** This is for fixing or breaking down for parts. It turns on.. and I will send the bad hard drive with it. But again no working hard drive!

I listed the product description when it had a working hard drive. I guess I was assuming that it was understood that there was no working hard drive in it. It will not come with a OS and It will come with the cord. This auction is for two items that do not work. Just parts..but if you can fix them..great :)
