The listing, 12 one dozen blue and gold Macaw parrot feather has ended.

This auction is for 12 parrot feathers which are primarily blue and grey, but some have gold on them. The larger of the them measure about 7" excluding the feather shaft. The smaller ones are probably around 3 to 4 inches. I did my very best to only select feathers in great condition (very minimal picking damage).

These are collected from our pet macaw, Misty. We only collect what she decides she doesn't need anymore ;-) so you don't have to worry about them being collected inhumanely.

I ship these between little spacer cards I make out of cardboard in an envelope so that they will not get crushed.

If bidding goes above 500, I'll throw in a few more feathers to make it 15. These will be assorted sizes.

And let me know if anyone would be interested in the larger feathers... I haven't listed them yet since they'll cost me a bit more to ship because they get as long as 19" without the shaft.

She's a good bird, though partial to my father, not me LOL. I'll check on what it'd cost me to send them in a poster tube, since envelopes don't get that long. Keep an eye out :) Also fannin' you back.

How old is she? Have you had her since she was a new born? :) What's her name? Wow!! I sound really noooossseeeeee :). Just currrrriiiouuuusss.

Heh, she's about 8, I think. She was pretty young when we got her, and her name is Misty. Pretty sure she's a girl, since she doesn't speak very well (usually the boys talk better). My favorite though is that she'll yell "MOM! ... WHAT?" because of my mother and brothers.

Great. I have won 2 really long feathers so far. I am not really sure what I am going to do with them yet. I make regalia fans out of the shorter size feathers. I have lots of turkey feathers and they do well but the exotic feathers are beautiful and I love the fact that they gift us with their feathers and are not harmed in the least. Great listing.
