This auction is for a BNIB Mountain Man Hunting Knife! It's a very nice and sturdy knife with hardwood handle and brass rivet/butt cap/hand guard. It measures just under 11" long and comes with a very nice, hand-tooled black leather sheath. Good Luck & Happy Bidding! :)

well i don't live in the mountains but i do live in the woods and i need a good hunting knife this looks like its pretty sturdy hope so i need a good knife which is why when i seen it i bid on it thanks for putting up on listia hope i win it i can sure put it to good use hope it will hold a good edge the one i have now is about worn out.

I've had mine for over a year now and I've only sharpened it once (right out of the package because I like my blades sharper than they come from the factory) and it's still just as sharp. They're very sturdy and well-made, full-tang, and the hardwood handles are riveted well also. They make for a very good hunting knife and are decent size for deer/hog hunting. Now if you're talking bear, I'd go bigger (and from a farther distance with a gun personally), but for general hunting/fishing purposes they're very good knives. :)

well we don't get many bear down here in Florida if i do meet one im sure my 50 cal can turn him into a nice rug..lol but we do get plenty of hog and deer here so a knife that will hold a good edge is handy the one ive got has seen better days blades about half of what it was when it was new course ive had it for about 18 years so hopefully i can retire it soon..LOL
