A wonderfully aromatic cullinary herb, oregano is also easy to grow. I love the smell of fresh herbs growing in my kitchen window as well as the crop I have planted on my porch for drying later. Aromatics like oregano (among others,) also have insect repellent tendencies which is why they are in pots all over my porch. Makes sitting out in the evening a little more enjoyable, and my tomato sauces a lot more flavorful.
