The listing, **NEW** HP 28 tri-color ink cartridge has ended.

Never used, still in unopened wrapper. Came in a twin pack so box is not included. I switched printers and my new one takes a different # so i have no use for it:)

Average retail value is around $12.00 for one tri-color cartridge.

This is only for inkjet printers. It could work on various ones, but the sure way to know if it will work on your printer is if you lift up the flap where you would put the ink in and look a the numbers labeled there.

If you see the number "28" you are good to go!
There also might be two options, like "28" or "22" or something, that just means it can take either one.

Genereally the difference is one can print more pages than the other and tends to be a little more expensive.

YES, the ink is still sealed in the foil, it's just not in the box.
I bought it last year in December 2010. Should be absolutely fine and work like new as it is unopened. I can't get to it right now to see what the actual expiration date is as I am out of town. I will be back Tuesday, and I plan to ship out to the winner on Tuesday via regular USPS mail.

Looks like you got me beat mydogoliver. I so NEED this. I don't have any money for Christmas and was hoping to make photo books of my daughter for family. Oh well..maybe next time IF there EVER is another one.

Sounds like you and I are in the same boat MDO. I live on government assistance month to month. Been trying to find a decent job for a couple years now. Also being a single Mom has its challenges. Best Wishes!
