Description

The listing, FORTY+ 1.25-inch Headpins w/Silver Balls ~Make Earrings or Pendants EASY~ has ended.

These wonderful silver plate headpins with built-in balls are 1.25 inches long ... the perfect size for most earrings and smaller pendants! Winner receives 40+ of them, shipped FREE to the US or Canada! Get your watch bid in now and come back win these superb findings!

Please search natahoa and specify the Arts & Crafts category to see all my other jewelry making supplies! I also have 1.5-inch and 2-inch headpins with balls on Listia, available Get It Now.

These are great for making earrings and pendants, see my photos for many examples of how to use them. With the little ball on the end, you don't need to add your own "end bead" to prevent the larger beads from falling off. I counted out 30 then added a few more ... some of these are bent but you can still use them (I do). And, I will not send you any badly bent headpins.

I have TONS of other findings for beaders and jewelry makers on Listia, please check my other listings (type natahoa into the search box at the top of any page).

Free US and Canada shipping too! I normally ship on Tuesdays after my listings end on Sunday and Monday nights, check for some bargains! This coming week I will ship Wednesday. I have to go out of town Tuesday to bring my kids home from college (leaving Monday night).

Wednesday is the day before Thanksgiving, so mail will probably be about one day delayed due to the holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Please don't ask me to fan you. If I'm a fan, I'll fan you and you don't even have to ask!

SCAM ALERT ... if you are bidding on a high-value item, like an ipod or other expensive electronic or jewelry item, particularly with a NEW seller, try this ... google the title and/or text of the item, then click on images -- you might see the SAME photos posted with an item for sale NOT on Listia!

A moderator just informed me that an Ipod I was bidding on was copied exactly from a craigslist ad ... photos, title and text. The seller, drewjohn32 (block him now) was answering a million comments, had a sad story (like so many Listia members), and I thought for SURE he was legit.

The point is, YOU can do the same thing as the moderators ... google search for an item that seems too good to be true, click on "images" at the top of the google search page, and if it is a scam you'll find the same item being sold on ebay, craigslist, or possibly another web site--copied, unbeknownst to the REAL seller of the item, and posted on Listia.

I think this is a GREAT tip!

Listia simply can't prevent people from coming here and perpetuating scams like this. It's up to ALL of us to police this site ... the mods can't do it all (but they do a pretty good job, IMO).

Also, feel free to copy and paste my message above on YOUR listings. I think this will help all of us feel there's something we CAN do to cut down on the scam listings and avoid a lot of disappointment this holiday season.

WARNING SCAM SELLER ... bio_cratos is selling LOTS of gift cards at LOW GIN prices and NOT sending them. I purchased two GIN from her. She never responded, then another Listia member warned me that she had sold at least $600 in gift cards recently and is not providing the gift codes.

I went on her MANY gift code listings and submitted a comment warning bidders about her. She has hidden them and blocked me, of course, so I can no longer post warnings on her listings but she is STILL listing gift cards.

This seller has substantial history/feedback so it is NOT OBVIOUS that this is a scam (i.e. not a new seller). I am seeing this more often ... a seller develops a good feedback history then pulls a BUNCH of scam auctions for gift cards. They get their credits immediately, of course, and probably spend them immediately.

Since I can no longer warn people by posting comments on HER listings, you might want to copy this warning for your own listings. Or, go onto her listings and post a warning like I did. I'm sure she will hide it and block you within a few hours, but it's worth saving someone else a lot of headaches.

Here's the link to her page so you can block her easily: http://www.listia.com/profile/77236

Natohoa, I have a really dumb question... What do you use these headpins for exactly? Of do use the beads, charms & such but NEVER these... Am I missing something cool?

Most people use them to make earrings, but you can make pendants also that you can hang on a chain or necklace.
