Description

The listing, Box of upholstery grade material samples has ended.

This is a box of 30 material sample pieces. A friend of mine works at a furniture store, these are the material samples for furniture, pillows, etc.

The square ones are approx. 18" by 18". The ones with rivets in the top corners are 12.5" by 17". There are 18 squares and 12 rectangles.

I personally have used the square ones to make loads of decorative pillows for family and friends for Christmas. The rectangular ones are more tricky to use. Perhaps someone more crafty than me knows what to do with them! :)

Wow this brings back memories from when my grandma worked at a furniture store. She gave me the samples of Waverly fabric one year and about a hundred samples of the carpets. I did a checker board carpet (took me weeks to sew those carpet squares together! lol) and I made a quilt with the decorator fabrics. I still have that quilt too, the fabrics wear like iron!! I have to bid on this one :-) thanks for listing (fanned you)

That is so cool, I've thought about doing a quilt, but I am very new to sewing so I think I want to get a bit more practice before I tackle a project like that! Periodically my friend brings me bags and bags of fabric from the store; it's like Christmas for me! :) Depending how this box does, I may be listing another box or two.. These fabric samples have taken over half a closet!

If you give me your zipcode I can calculate and the rate and it would probably be less than $10. I'm in Lafayette, local pick-up would be fine if you live nearby.
