That's a good sized purse (ditto on the "beautiful" baby comment, what a sweetie!!!) thanks for putting it up for auction and for providing the dimensions. I was looking at another purse too; but, the person listing the auction wouldn't provide the dimensions...would just say that it is "roomie". To me, that kind of statement relies a lot on your frame of reference. If you usually carry a tiny purse anything bigger might seem "roomy" and if you usually carry an extra large purse a medium purse might seem rather small, etc. Maybe I'm missing something; but, most people have a ruler, tape measure or something they could use to measure an item so a potential bidder would have a better idea what they would be receiving for their credits. I try to give all the information I can on my auctions and always try to answer any questions people ask. I love Listia; but, sometimes I feel a bit "baffled"...Jeene

Thank you for taking the time to chat. After your comment regarding the roominess of the purse I decided to get out a steel ruler (I used a clothe one previously) and yikes the measurement is 6 by 9...I'm sorry. But I am very glad you wrote so I could take another look and get it right. Thanks so much.

And just so you know, the reason I'm auctioning off the purse is because it's too small for me..

So glad you wrote back again. When you made the comment about it being a good size purse I said I better get a steel ruler instead of the cloth tape...and guess what in steel it says 6" high by 9...Your great follow-up forced me to take another look.

I carry an extra large purse myself so this is just too small for me.
