The listing, Vintage Stainless Steel Ice Cream Scoop Myers Deluxe Disher Smooth Action Heavy Duty Ex Condition has ended.

This is a vintage Myers Deluxe disher or ice cream scoop that is shown in the photo's above.

This one is not perfect but it is in such nice condition..very smooth operation..minimal scratches..does not look its age
This has two patent dates that lead to the late 1930's and 40's one being 1903791 and 2041200(in case you like to look up patent numbers)
It is marked stainless steel on the back.

Scoop bowl is 2 1/2" in diameter and about 1 1/4" in depth.
Total length is 8 3/4" long

This is missing the bottom end cap piece, originally, it had a piece of green bakelite on the end. This missing piece does not affect the operation of this wonderful "disher"

This is a very special brand, one that people look for. I'm not sure why cuz I dont eat much ice cream, but to a serious ice cream eater, this scoop is much sought after. And it's almost impossible to find one in this condition. Even with the Bakelite piece missing on the end of the handle. Each to their own, I guess..lol
