Description

The listing, IPhone 5s 16 gb Unlocked (GSM) with Box. No Charger No Headphones Clean IMEI has ended.

This listing is not a joke. You are looking at a damn near brand new iPhone 5S 16 gigabyte that is unlocked on gsm networks only. You cannot use this phone for Verizon Wireless. You may not use this phone on any other carrier that uses CDMA wave signals to send data. This means that if you are trying to use it on Verizon Wireless US Cellular Page Plus Select Wireless Chinook Wireless or any other small wireless carrier it will more than likely not work. You must have a SIM card that is GSM to use this.

There is shipping on this listing it will be for $29.99. The shipping is non-negotiable this product will be sent by us Priority Mail Express with signature confirmation required. Please have an address on file with Listia so that I can complete this transaction with you if you are purchasing it. This product can only be shipped and it will be shipped with signature confirmation.

As I stated most of my listings I am a eBay and Amazon Seller I am a veteran on both sites and I would like to see what the market is here on Listia. This is not a fake listing please do not ask me to take pictures with my user name on it and things like that there must be some trustworthiness when selling on Listia. I am verified by Facebook you may look me up there my name is Jarvis Edmond Carter I am also in Billings Montana my profile picture is exactly the same on Facebook as it is here. If you have any questions or concerns you can send me messages there you should always communicate with me here first.

This listing will start at 5000 Listia Credits. GOOD LUCK!

wow... talk about long comments... wow...

most of you know me (@Enchanted57 we've had many discussions) because i've made many silly, dumb and stupid comments on lots of fake listings, so much so that i have the "Auction Flagged" badge, 5x (which means i've flagged way over 1,000 listings that proved to be fake)... and, i've never been wrong with a fake listing to date (note i have been scammed thinking a legit listing that turned out to be fake)... so, here's my take:

@killhit2017: you and i have discussed previous fake listings in the past and taken face value, i see your point that this could be a fake listing BUT........

@Jarvis39:
1) has paid a nominal fee and/or provided a credit card (scammers won't or don't have a credit card)

2) currently listing so many items here which must have taken a very long time creating (surely not worth the $29.99 shipping fee if he were just trying to keep the shipping fees)...

3) has not hidden any comments...

4) has a legit Facebook account that actually existed way before this listing was created...

5) provided real pics with the same background...

6) is cell phone savvy, heck i'm a VP in the heart of the Silicon Valley and he knows his wireless $hit (Apple, Tesla, Google, Facebook, etc. HQ's are all near me)...

7) has a legit user name and profile pic...

8) has been very cool and collective in his comments and not once cursed or used strong language in his replies...

so, my dilemma isn't whether this is a fake listing or not, it's whether i want spend some of my 8 digit worth of free credits on another iPhone 5s because this listing is so enticing? good luck everyone...

My dog and I thank you for this comment. I would not have been very well versed in this area had I not had experience with people like yourself coaching me and teaching me the ropes. Back in the day eBay had a program where a top rated seller with train a new seller. This only lasted about 7 years between 1996 and 2003. My mother was a part of that crew and those people are probably the most excellent people I have ever met. my mother always said that knowledge is power but before I went to start selling things on my own I researched all of the products that I sell so that if there's a problem I can fix it or I can watch somebody through fixing it. I am graciously honored to have you look at my listing knowing that you're a longtime Listia member and you've been here since the beginning of it starting. It's people like you that make it easy for people like me who have sold on eBay and Amazon for years to be a part of something so special and so unique as the experience a buyer gets here on Listia. Thank you again for taking the time out of your busy day and your shopping to make a comment that is so well put and so elegant on my listing

okay everybody show's over. Let's get back to the business of the auction please and thank you I appreciate everybody who's made a comment about the validity of the auction I hope that everybody is now very clear about how valid it is and about the shipping charge and if there's any other questions comments or concerns please post them but let's not be fighting in my comments on my options let's do the best to be decent human beings to each other because we are a pretty good community.

So you don't wanna add a photo with your username on it and to justify that you use trust worthiness? What if I paid the shipping cost to you as a product purchase, and PayPal held the payment until I released it? When I receive my item. Would you still ship it?

Yes I would still ship it because that's how it works. I don't think that it's wrong for you to make it as a purchase anyway. Because you are purchasing something you got credits on the line and you have money on the line when you're getting this shipped. When you receive the product you'll get your money on hold and give it to me. I don't have a problem with PayPal at all. I also don't have a problem with you wanting to Escrow their money if you wanted to do that. As I said you can look me up right online if you want to call you can call you want me to drop my number and here you can definitely speak directly to me just send me a private message.

No question is redundant or stupid if you don't ask it it won't get answered. Yes you may use it with T-Mobile because T-Mobile is a GSM compatible network that uses a SIM card. The phone is unlocked thus meaning any GSM carrier around the world even those in Canada and in Saudi Arabia can use this phone

This dude kilhit is so salty lol. I've been here for some time and can tell you seem legit. I'll be bidding but I've never seen somebody try so hard to say something is fake when the seller himself is writing a story to explain his side and has great feedback on other places! Nice auction again and hope kilhit loses the saltiness :)

You lost a good auction buddy for being nasty! Like I said Jarvis I'll be bidding higher. I won't let the Salt win me over LOL haha! Btw the dumbest one would be the one that called your auction a scam and says doesn't know whether to bid or not. I'm surprised with your patience. Would have blocked him long time ago :)

Okay you guys that's quite enough I can understand when somebody sees a listing and things to themselves that it is the same type of Perpetual behavior that other people do that are scammers here on Listia I am okay with someone questioning me about the validity of my listing if they're going to be a good and honest person about that I am not okay with people questioning the validity of my listing by making wild assumptions which he has been very kind enough to admit that he was assuming. Let's try our best to behave and to be best behaved when we are at our worst. I don't think that he was out of line especially since he has essentially apologized and I think that you are kind of taking it a little bit too far let it ride let's all be gentlemen and ladies and get back to bidding and asking questions about the auction not making insults in the comments section please and thank you.

They also need the account number

If you believe that then you are very blind to how IMEIs work. I wouldn't be telling you that story without some experience. I was very naive to the fact that the phone's identification couldn't be taken by somebody but that is not the case it's why you don't see a lot of sellers continuing to give out ESNs and IMEIs on eBay any longer. Another one of my friends who was a seller in Washington had an iPhone 6s that was brand new and a 64 gigabyte not only did someone on eBay claim that that phone was stolen from him after adding it to his account. The police in Seattle came and confiscated the phone and sent it back to the guy after he took the IMEI and added it to his AT&T account. That is not a joke that absolutely does happen and it is more common now than ever before.

I hope it is legit! I hope the buyer gets the phone, and you get paid! I hope that IF you are legit, you and the buyer have a great experience, but understand where I'm coming from! This looks exactly like every other scammers attempt jumping straight to auctioning off high end items with no history on the site. They use high shipping rates so they can strip the buyer with PayPal and make off with the money, spend it before the buyer gets too suspicious and then disappear from Listia. Happens daily! And it's always basically identical to how you appear!

And maybe that's the problem in itself instead of someone contacting someone else who was a seller and trying to protect the community by making sure that the person is who they say they are aware that they can be contacted you just went off on a tirade and didn't assume to call me or to message me to see if I was for real or not you just made an assumption without properly investigating. This is no different than racial profiling it is no different than what the cops do two innocent people and it's no different than being judgemental and prejudicial to people who have no feedback. Take this as a learning curve.

Again I don't know you and I hope that you have great products and that the products that you sell here keep people happy and put a smile on their faces. I would hope that you would give me the same blessing based on the fact that you've been here longer. No hard feelings and I hope that if you're going to bed or if you have someone who is interested in this listing that you will pass it along.

this is the difference between Listia and eBay or Amazon would not fighting with each other. We can help each other and promote each other here on Listia it's why the site is so great in comparison to other places where money is the primary focus and drive. We don't have to hate on each other here. Because it's not a race and there is no true profit margin no one has to go around bashing someone else's listings because they have the same thing for sale.
At this moment Listia has probably one of the closest communities and most positive communities of any Marketplace site because it is not money driven. It will get that way sooner or later when people are able to list of points for cash that's causing a drive in points hopefully it will not change the attitude of the people who are here.

Blah sure ya do! What's your eBay name? What's your Amazon name? Maybe you should provide people with that info at your own free will without anyone having to ask, a seller with that track record would mention those as references considering you're jumping straight to selling a high end item and referring people to your other track records would be absolutely crucial when performing this listing! Not to mention, a true seller with that track record wouldn't do harshly assume their track record is better than anyone's when they know absolutely nothing about the person.

Don't argue with me; because you can't. You just keep digging a hole with me; you don't know me.

I don't know you either but you've shown enough and dig yourself deeper trying to argue with me. The simple fact that you debut with such an item is the huge red flag for anyone with a little common sense, no matter how many other listings you have, it's all still a "debut" because you have no feedback! I've seen people go through much more trouble than staging a long list of items in attempt to appear legit so that you can capitalize on this ONE listing with huge shipping costs! I've seen people go through more trouble than that for much less than $30.

I am not posting the IMEI to this phone I got burned really badly on iPhone 6 Plus on eBay a lady bought that phone from me I did it to her account prior to winning the auction and said it was stolen and got refunded from PayPal I do not post the IMEI to any phone that I have. That will never happen again. The IMEI is reserved for people who purchase the product I have no problem after you paid shipping to give you the IMEI you can run the check on it and if it's not clean which it is because I owned it before then I will refund your shipping and kill the listing. I'm going to protect myself at all costs I have no problem with you requesting the IMEI after the auction has ended if you are the high bidder

You have the list of assurance guarantee that if there is a problem with the IMEI number that you will receive a full refund of your credits and shipping. I am not interested in giving out the IMEI on this phone it can be added to anyone's plan or account at that point thus making the phone not mine any longer. When you receive the phone you will have the IMEI number

No you're wrong on every level. NOBODY ships that way if they don't have to! WHO WOULD PAY THAT MUCH FOR SHIPPING IF IT IS UNNECESSARY? Not to mention it being required by the seller! I don't go around hating on people's auction! I just try to stop dumb people from succeeding a scammer! Not on the dumb buyer's behalf, but to stop the scammer from succeeding! Why on earth would anyone post a high end item so early when common sense would tell you that you'd get way more for such an item once you've completed cheaper sales to build trusted feedback first???

Because I'm entitled to do such it doesn't matter how much feedback I have a lot more feedback than you do on eBay or on Amazon combined. I'm over 10,000 user on eBay and I have over 1300 feedback on Amazon. It doesn't matter if I'm new to Listia the bottom line is I'm verified it doesn't matter if I have no feedback or 5000 feedback. And you saying that in general is very prejudicial.

Listia doesn't preclude people from listing high-end items they encourage people to sell things that they have. Had you really thought about what you were saying before you said it or if you had contacted me prior to you wouldn't be back peddling right now

I have no reason to lie to this community just like I have no reason to lie on eBay or Amazon. Being a seller is a privilege not a right and it's alright but you obviously don't believe it until you have some quote on quote established history with a specific site.

Save your breath and start understanding that you looked quite silly saying those things without actually having some type of proof. I would block you but that wouldn't teach you a lesson. I think this is a better lesson not only to you but to any other person or member here on Listia not to judge a book by its feedback.

again save us all the melodrama of your righteous indignation and let people bid on this item in peace. Have a better day because obviously you have nothing better to do than to comment on a listing without any factual evidence.

I just want to say the following to you if you are more feedback than me on eBay or on Amazon you have been there longer than 99. I buy more than I sell but my feedback is comprised of 77% sales when it comes down to the actual numbers between both sites. I would assume you do not have more than 10,000 feedback on eBay that is a very prestigious thing that I can talk about and have Elite company. Only about 12% of eBay users have more than 5,000 feedback. And only about 6% of Amazon sellers have more than a thousand for feedback. If you're in that upper echelon I would have to see it to believe it. I wouldn't discount it but I'd have to see it

I want to say this again on this listing I do not shy away from controversy nor will I delete people's comments that have something negative to say. You're either in or you're out. You don't have to trust this auction trust the fact that Listia has verified that I am who I say I am and that the product actually exists.

Secondly understand that most of the time when an auction looks fake or several people call it out for mental and picture errors Listia removes those from the site BEFORE THE AUCTION ENDS.

I do not mind other sellers who have less than 100% positive feedback questioning the validity of my auctions. Because it is very easy to quell anything that they have to say. If you just use your common sense and see that most of my pictures are taken on my bed or on a pillow it is obvious that those pictures are real.

As previously stated if you have any questions or concerns about me or my listings you are more than welcome to look me up on Facebook and send me a personal message and ask for a video or send me a personal message here and I will give you my phone number and we can talk it out.

I am a very articulate and slow to anger African American man who really isn't going to tolerate people being hateful or telling this community what isn't true. good luck because someone is going to win this iPhone as long as they pay for the priority mail express shipping with signature confirmation

It's all good! Forget that chick! I was 100% going to GIN two of her high end cologne listings today when my credits transferred but not a chance now. Like I said before, " dumb people!" And Jarvis if you had been here for quite some time, you'd understand exactly where I'm coming from. Just search "iPhone" and you'll see all the obviously fake auctions because 95% of them are brand new users such as yourself. It's ridiculous what people will go through trying to scam people, when really, they'd have less trouble if they just got a job!!!

I totally understand where you're coming from I'm not opposed to saying that there are a ton of iPhone scams here on Listia however before you assume it's a scam it would be best to always investigate and see if something is a scam or not. Custom make a wild assumption that something is fraudulent without knowing for absolute sure is to put arbitrary and unjust findings on something you have no idea about its what the government does not what people do.

Funny thing is: I blocked her right after I sent her a message about not buying her two listings I was gonna gin lol. As far as how many credits she has more than me, well, I've been here for just a fraction of the time she has and by her sales, a blind man could see she's nothing to be bragging about, just mad that I'm no longer gonna GiN her two auctions lol!

As for me well, sometimes you gotta put someone on the spot and check them HARD in situations like this, test their grit they hold for themselves, extract some details that have nothing to do with the item itself, but test the brand new seller, see how they dignify themselves among multiple aspects. You have handled it pretty well, and I meant no hostility, although hostility may seemed to have been portrayed, it was a test of faith. And when it comes to those of us who stalk iPhone auctions HOPING a LEGIT one will be in the mix somewhere, 95% of the time they are NOT legit, just a horde of scammers that simply abandon their accounts once it is publicly probable that everyone knows they're scamming for fake shipping charges just to roll people for PayPal money. Once you've been here at least a few weeks, you'll see EXACTLY what I'm talking about. It's a very very common, distinctive pattern!

I believe Priority Mail Express is the only way to ensure that a product is in a customer's hands as quickly as possible and the release of credits comes as quickly as possible. It also ensures that there's enough insurance on the product that in the event that it is damaged in transit that the product itself will be covered monetarily. I appreciate this comment because it gives Credence to the fact that the shipping is valid.

I think I will respond to your comment. I was just going to ignore it and hide it however good sellers do not hide from commenters like yourself. and if you had read the actual listing you would know that it's used and not new.

When other sellers go around hating on other sellers here on Listia it looks weak and desperate. Every auction that I have here is real.

I said this before and I'll say it again if anyone wishes to question the authenticity of my auctions they are more than welcome to call me by sending me a personal message and I will send them my phone number or by looking me up on Facebook and asking for a video of the product.

Lastly , it is obvious why I am asking $30 shipping for this phone. It is Sent By Priority Mail Express with signature confirmation if you knew what the flat rate envelope went for you would know that it goes for $29.95. $30 shipping is exactly what it cost to ship.

Please take your hate-filled and presumptive comments elsewhere and let people hear on Listia bid on a product that is verified by Listia based on the verification of my account. Have a better day because obviously you have nothing better to do than to come over here and do this.

I want to make this clear so that it is clear to everyone here on Listia. I am not some hidden figure. My profile on Facebook is wide open to the public. My telephone number is available for anybody who wishes to speak to me send me a private message and I'll send it to you. However I am not going to fall under some dictatorship where you guys believe that putting your username or a picture of Listia in your listing when you take pictures is some way of proving or verifying that someone is not fake or that a product that is being sold is actually real. Lydia has a credit back guarantee as well as PayPal where you pay your shipping has a money back guarantee. I have no problems with you guys wanting those pictures I'm just not going to provide them because I'm a pretty trustworthy seller. If you do not like that fact please do not bid on my items. Have a great day and fun shopping here on Listia
