The listing, MAGIC JACK has ended.

The original MAGIC JACK is used and I don't have the packaging. There is nothing wrong with it but I have upgraded to a Magic Jack plus so I don't need this one anymore.

I know it's true U have to leave computer on but it's good in the way that when U don't want to be bothered all U have to do is shut ur comp off and Magic Jack does have voicemail service :)

i love my plus to. but these are non transferable, if you are using your old number on your plus then this one is useless unless the winner sends it back to magic jack to be reformatted first because other wise they will need your password for it.

I like my Magic jack as well...thinking about the plus will i still need to pay a deposit or fees to upgrade? I also want this one for a gift so what will i need to do? F&W

For the plus I just transfered my number from the Magic Jack I am auctioning to the new one and so far have not had a problem or any fee type stuff has come up but it is $19.95 a year for the plus if you have no previous service but to be 100% sure check out the FAQ part of their web site to be sure, and as for this one that I am auctioning don't remember how much it was for the year or initial sign up but am sure you can find that out on their website :)

im glad i could help. some people think they can just get one off here and it will work but there are steps to take. i would hate for a seller with such a high rating to have problems over this. hope it goes well. these are so great to have.

If you buy a used magicjack online it will work as long as there is time left on the number... The seller will have to add your email address as the default so the voice mail message would get sent to you and they would have to give the password to the account so you can purchase next year for $19.95 or 5 years for $69.95. I have had mine since 2003. It will work with the number that comes on it .. and you can probably get a new number for it .. but I'm not sure that's free anymore. I wouldn't mind having one of the newer ones that plug into a wall jack and you just plug in an Ethernet cable and a phone line ... but they cost $60 ($40 for the jack and $20 for the service) for the 1st year rather than $40 ($20 for the jack and $20 for the service) for the older model that plugs into a pc

I lov my Plus ,,I have it pluged into a cordless phone base with 4 hand sets ..I still use my old one as a FAX line for my business also ...there just amazing !!!..I sent one to my cousins in Italy with a local number so they call all over the USA for Free
