Can you keep these indoors?

Yes. They will all grow indoors, provided a good sunny window. ThePrickly Pear can get really large (4" - 5") and has very fine stickers that can drop on the floor. Ouch! Experience, "Ouch!"

Hey there, sweetie! My seeds are growing!!! And my other goodies are growing well too. Thanks again for all the lovelies.

What's the cactus that's in the center of the first photo - the one with the funky hairdo? He's interesting!

You are most welcome. It's really cool to know the kids are happy and healthy!
The groovy hairdo guy is actually a "teenage" Prickly Pear. The pips will quickly grow into ***** (isn't that a familiar tale?).
Let's dance.

I am not much a a plant grower..just never had a green thumb! Do these need to be repotted into a pot that has drainage holes or just a little pot? Thanks for your advice! Mitzi

Hey there. Thanks for the question. Good drainage is essential. I like the old fashioned terracotta clay pots. I have not had great results using pots with no holes even though I have tried many times. My advise, the more holes the merrier!
