Lovely silver-tone locket with 22" chain and pink faux stone. The locket portion (closed) measures 1-3/4 x 1-1/4" and has a pretty design on the back. It has places for 2 pictures inside.

You sure that's fake? It looks a lot like rhodocrosite, which is a really cool stone. (despite it being pink).

I'm pretty sure it's some type of plastic or resin. When you look at it closely, or tap it with a fingernail, it just doesn't look, sound, or feel like a stone. It's very pretty, but can't say it's a real stone.

Huh. I suppose something I'd have to see in person and be like "ohhh, yeah it's fake" but if it is a fake, they sure did a good job of making it look real.

Sorry, I wish I knew for sure if it is real, but I can't say it is real when it may not be. My boyfriend has quite a lot of experience with stones, he says it might be real, but he has doubts, too. I appreciate your interest, though! Vicki
