FREE: Vintage Leaf Brooch

The listing, Vintage Leaf Brooch has ended.

This sizable brooch is in excellent condition and must have been hidden away in the drawer from it's debut in the 1960's! It measures just over 2 1/2" long and 1 1/2" wide. It is about 1/2" deep not counting the pin clasp. My opinion is that it is gold plating over base metal, but I could not find markings. I took 2 pictures with an 8x loupe so that you could see what appears to be a typical gold plating patina which makes me think this. Whatever it is, it will certainly look vintage chic on a collar, coat or purse. It would look spectacular on a plain black cloth evening purse! Please ask any questions and thanks for looking.
