This auction is for a Fantastic Looking 1831 Capped Bust with Lettered Edge Silver Half Dollar.
This coin is the 2nd or Remodeled Portrait with Eagle and has the Adopted Edge.
Notice the Clasp and Adjacent Curl as well as all other Curls on Liberty and a trace of wear on the Hair over the Eye and Ear... this coin does show the Details of an Almost Uncirculated Coin, but with the wear apparent on the Reverse, especially on the "Pluribus" of "E Pluribus Unum" it will only allow an "Almost Uncirculated W/Details" or just count on an EF PLUS W/Details. But as usual, I am starting this auction off at 499 and allowing the bidders to make their own decision on Condition and Grade.

I never clean or alter coins in any way, and do my best to allow you to see every detail and/or every blemish that the coins I list have, so that you can make an informed and confident bid.

Now that the holidays are over with, the Post Office has been doing a better job of getting packages to their destination in a timely manner, but not all of them. Some are still taking up to a week (or more) for no special or evident reason.
Just let it be known that all items will be sent the next available day after end of auction, for I actually go to the Post Office and pay the Postage and Tracking in person so that you will receive your item as soon as possible. I also check all Tracking numbers daily and will keep you informed of anything that is out of the ordinary.
