I use XP. I find it more user friendly, more effective for self-diagnostics that VISTA or Windows 7, and, overall, as clearly just as good, if not better, over-all. I used Picture-It for years, grafic arts, project design and photo "tweaking." I have a whole catalog of postcards and greeting cards, many designed with Picture-it. It is a simple software and easy to use. I now use Adobe CS Photoshop, but honestly, I hardly know what to do with more than 25% of its tricks. I reccomend this softward to anyone who does not feel they have the time to spend working over photos or making stuff.... or children, for that matter. Hmmm. Maybe I wan tit for my gradchildren...
Thanks for offering it up to the Community (me in particular) to consider. I am definately watching.
By the way, I don't consider this an "antique" or even "vintage" software, as XP, if not Windows 98, is still in favored/frequent use and it rivals almost any photo software that comes with currently available digital cameras or printers.

Yeah, I remember being introduced to Photoshop for the first time, and that was really overwhelming. If I ever needed to do that kind of editing, I'd be better off hiring someone, lol. It's funny to think of XP as being that old. I had a single computer with XP that lasted 10 years. Only when my mom couldn't play Farmville on it anymore (earlier this year) is when she finally got a new computer.
