Didn't know they were makin' a movie. Just Googled cast. Ugh, they are really screwing the story up just by who they have cast in the roles. Won't be going to theater for this one. I'm sure it will be totally wrong as most of the movies they make from his work is. The Dark Tower series is far to excellent to be botched up by producers and the like who think they can "make it better". Great auction! Now, I've always thought the perfect Roland, if they made a movie, would be Hugh Laurie, that's the face I see when I read the books! :)

Eastwood is who I've always seen in my mind but king even said that's who Roland is modeled after. Yea I'm not a fan either. I'm all for Art and such but I don't like when the sex or the race of a main character is changed. No one can ever stick to the source material anymore but this isn't an adaptation it's a continuation. Because the dark tower is like string theory or M Theory I can see how Roland is a black guy this time, this time it's supposed to be an ENDING tho rather than the loop restarting. He could have been a won a. In one story, a young boy in another. String theory suggests anything that can be has or will be. So it will be nice to get an ENDING but eddie, suse,even Oy may not even be in the movie which sux.

Its supposed to be the Last round, Roland has the Horn with him this time so it picks up where the books end.

I've often wondered is he draws the same people every time. Like if once was Eddie black and suze white? Maybe Eddie is missing his legs...maybe Eddie's name if jason...endless possibility but yeah it's gona be....Different for sure.
