The listing, RED CANNA FLOWERING PLANT BULBS has ended.

Up for auction is a gorgeous mature RED Cannas plant. These plants are still flowering! They are of a very hardy variety. They grow to about 3 feet tall with beautiful green leaves with red edging.
Since these will be going out in a Priority Flat Rate Small box, I'm going to try and find as many small ones as I can to stuff in there. I won't be harvesting them until the auction is over and the winner submits their LISTIA VERIFIED shipping address and PAYPAL ONLY shipping payment. So make sure that's done first folks. I want these to be as fresh as possible for the winner.
I cannot offer free ship on this item folks. My apologies.

WB Doris. OK. magoogirl is the expert on these plants. I asked her about your Q Jasmine and here was her response:
I have found the canna to be a very hard plant. We have had some very cold winters (for short periods of time) here in the southwest section of Florida. I mean 30 is cold, right now all the leaves are turning brown on my orange cannas, but they never give up If the ground in colorado stays cold for longer period s of time I would not plant them until the Spring or as soon as the ground stays warm for that next season. You plant two and watch them go, before you know it you have a family of these hearty flowers. Good Luck to the winner of this auction, you Will enjoy these flowers. Magoogirl

I must agree. I'm in central CA and we have some hard freezes. The most I've noticed is the leaves browning. I keep a small sprinkler running at all times in my garden because that water is warmer than the frost on top. I find my roses appreciate it in the winter time. If you have a back porch, you can always start them in a pot, then transplant when the earth warms. I'm doing that with some new plants I'm getting that can handle the frost but would rather not really deal with it. lol My mud room faces the South so it gets the sun but is still cold.
