About this Movie.
In one of their rare color appearances, Abbott and Costello star in the classic fairy tale about a boy, some seeds and a terrifying giant who lives in a castle in the clouds. While trying to escape from the giant (played by Buddy Baer, brother of famous boxer Max Maer), Jack (played in typical bumbling fashion by Lou Costello) encounters many fantastic creatures and characters, including a hen that lays golden eggs, a singing harp and a prince (James Alexander) and princess (Shaye Cogan) who also seek to escape the giant's clutches. It's hilarious fun and mayhem in the finest Abbot and Costello traction.
