What a beautiful ring! I was given a ring similar to this a few years ago by my friend. (it was also a dainty little black hills gold ring that i wore on my pinky finger) It had belonged to his mother who had just passed. I was so honored that he had given it to me to wear, but sadly, because I dropped some water weight that summer and my fingers were more slender... it slipped off my hand at some point during a road trip we made to the next town over and we searched for it everywhere but it never turned up. :( I felt so freaking terrible for so long and I still don't feel awesome about it, and I know it can't be replaced, BUT I am gonna try to win dis one! :D

Awww! I'm sorry to hear that. I know the feeling though...I have lost several rings over the years that can't be replaced, including a high school class ring that I begggggged my parents for the "special" engraved one with my birthstone on it....*sigh*
Once I lost a ring my ex-husband gave me before we were married.
I felt so guilty, I went & bought another one so he would know lol
