The listing, Chasing Graveyard Ghosts Investigations of Haunted and Hallowed Ground has ended.
~Some true ghost books have a tendency to be repetitive and boring. Not so with this one. It is entertaining, interesting, and in some parts, very chilling. The author didn't just rehash old ghost stories, she told us about her first-hand experiences in each graveyard.
I also enjoyed learning about strange cemeteries I'd never heard of, such as one for circus performers, one that's underwater, and even one where the body of an ET is supposed to be buried. She also told spine-tingling tales of grave sleepers, cemetery guardians who were sometimes buried alive, statues that move, vampire plots, werewolf victims, and so on. It kept me spooked from the time I started it until the end. There are those that may find her experiences and claims hard to believe, but as Ms. Goodwyn herself says in the book, she didn't write it for scientists and skeptics. So even if you are an ultra-rigid skeptic and don't believe her, it's still a very interesting read.
******I wanted to see what all the fuss was about so I bought this, read it once, and here it is! Looks virtually unread. A beautiful and very enjoyable paperback. Don't let it get away! What better time to read this than right before Halloween?*******
