If the previous owner did not pay his bill, the phone will have a bad ESN. Phone can not be activited if there is a bad ESN unless you know someone that flashed or jailbreak it or unlock it (what ever therms people used now days). Other then that it makes a great ipod touch! I'm bidding for it later in the week when i have enough points!
