These are from my dwarf tree. They have a lovely violet purple color. My tree is approximate 6 yrs old and stands about 8 feet tall. It is a hearty little tree. It's gone through dry spells (when I got it I thought it was dead) and frost on the ground without any cover. It has withstood strong winds and many bad storms. It has bloomed every year for me with the first year as an exception. You can let it grow wild and it will grow as a large bush. Or trim the suckers off at the base leaving just one main trunk. Maintain removing the suckers and it will grow into a beautiful tree. The bush also makes a gorgeous hedge to block unsightly things. Telephone poles in your yard. Plant near fencing to soften the look. My sister uses my seeds for her land in big huge spots (wild of course) to soften the glare of all her bare country land. Gives that great splash of color to the land. More natural woodsy feel. Each pod has several seeds. You will get 20 pods in a regular envelope. If the pods happen to break open, they won't affect the seeds at all. Don't worry. They'll be in a zip baggie.
