This PlayStation 3 console is the hardware based backward compatibility launch model meaning it is ps1 and ps2 compatible.

I bought this off ebay,
it powers on and stays on with a green led, the hard drive light flashes for a second and the fan is running quietly.
it will accept and eject discs, however no video or sound appear on the tv whether it is hooked up by hdmi or av composite input. it has been opened and and fixed once according to the ebay seller. it is sold as is due to it not having video or sound,the bluray drive has only been tested as far as accepting and ejecting discs. A small piece of plastic is missing from the rear.
it will include the 60GB hard drive.
