Exactly!!! As of right now i have not sold anything yet. Im more of a buyer. But i understand when someone has something up for what looks like a lot of credits. Its really not and people either dont care or dont realize the credits are just like money they just convert higher. I get mad when i see people lie about shipping prices. There is one person who charged $25 for shipping on 3 nose rings. That is someone trying to profit off shipping and its wrong. I need to start selling but i always am scared to put a price. Im afraid the person buying is getting ripped off or I am. thats how i am with my counties fb yard sale site. LoL!!! But thats easier because you get people making offers and you get to decide of you wanna take it or not

Yeah and all ya really have to do on here is figure what you have invested in your items along with all the other overhead that will be tied up in listing/selling it and charge accordingly...you should give it a try....I love the FB & all the other Yard Sale sights here they rock....I have found a few household items for several rooms in my home that I would have otherwise had to pay full price for had I bought them in the store.....I love buying on Listia and after a sight has been up for awhile it always becomes a more profitable place to buy than sell on

Same here : ( I know I had it listed as a GIN then changed it over so members can bid on it the whole lot with all the overhead that goes with it cost me a small fortune but I listed it to make someone very happy : )

GEE, I must be selling really truly wrong, because I never profit from any of my auctions, I sell just to have fun and to help out any buyer add items to their collections or to help an buyer or winner get gifts for family or friends....I never add up exactly what I paid for an item then add up my postage and then add in my time and energy...wow....i thought this was a fun auction site, trying to profit from your auction is the reason the credit to real money price is so high.

This is a fun place to buy/sell and to also sell anything you want and without a little profit then we couldn't keep buying nice things to list on here....I have sold unused items outta my home on here and I also tie up a huge sum of money buying items to list so that those that do not have the cash to buy other places can used their earned credits to get the items and I have helped hundreds that way on school clothes, Christmas gifts, as well as many many other items

Maybe you never have paid for an item then add up your postage and then add in my time and energy..neither have I....I pay for items, pay to have them shipped to me, pay for ink & paper to print shipping labels, I pay for packing materials including mailer, bubble wrap, tape, just to mention a few...and that does not count for my time I have never counted my time for doing things I love doing....also Listia needs 20% of final selling credits

This is not the reason for the increase in credits, that is because many more people have earned the option to sell their credits for cash, therefore, Listia needs more members to buy credits to fulfill the ones we sell...in order for them to do that they have to keep increasing the amount of credits for very little money when they sell them...simple math

Luv it hope u are able to profit from this.... Bein on here a while n know most are honest... But there are a few that try n give it a bad wrap by over pricing... If this was my size id b bidding... I also no if u have so many people watching an auction u get a badge so ill b watching n hope you are sucessful n make a nice profit in credits... Most dont realize the cost thet want something for nothing

Thank you : ) after all is said & done I will just about break even on this lot but only if GIN is used & the other lot I have listed but both listings are the end of my inventory for these and I wanted to make sure that anybody that may want them gets them I hardly make a profit on anything since the value of the credits are so much lower than they used to be and Listia needs 20% of the final value credits.

Not complaining at all just saying and yeah overhead is expensive to list on here for a little of nothing but I love helping others & have been in sales since 1980 so it's hard to get outta my system even if I don't make a profit. Don't get me wrong I do make a small credit profit on some things but I still keep listing even when I don't.

I have seen plenty of overpricing going on as well as people trying to make a cash profit by overcharging on shipping fees as well, that is not my way and I will not partake in such practices, after all ethics play a role in sales for an honest seller.

See normally i keep my comments to my self. But just today i lost track of people asking if they could get stuff for a really really low gin or asked to lower days. And im sorry thats bully!!! They know they wouldn't wanna lose out if they posted stuff so why expect others to. Obvously if someone has a gin thats the set amount they want. I know exactly how ya feel and as it stands as of today 100,000 credits are worth only $5.00...I am not complaining when I say this but the value of these credits drop consistently on here. It's just the way it goes and people should really do the math and they would find that the items are worth far more that we ever ask for them...I for one would not over-price my items...I have to pay for every item I list plus pay shipping to have it shipped to me, shipping to the winner/customer, packaging materials, ink & paper (for ship label), not to mention Listia needs the 20% of total value fee credits which are deducted from us on every item, and this takes time and energy... It is expensive to bring nice things to our customers
