2007S GEORGE WASHINGTON PRESIDENTIAL DOLLAR PROOF FROM THE CONTROVERSIAL 1st YEAR OF RELEASE

2007 was the 1st year of the U.S. Mint Presidential Dollar Coins. It proved to stir up a controversy over the fact "IN GOD WE TRUST" was lettered on the coins edge rather than on the obverse where it has been since Lincoln first had it put on the 2 Cent Piece in the days before the Civil War. "IN GOD WE TRUST" was later moved to the obverse of these Dollar Coins starting in 2009.
As you can see, this particular coin appears to be of a higher grade proof, no scatches, spotting, or toning.

You called it "proof" yet later say this coin appears tp be a higher grade proof? Is it proof coin or do you just think it might be proof coin?

It came out of a set like I just sold, this was from one of those sets that I broke up, it's probably on my profile. If it's on there, it came out of an identical set to the 2007 Presidential Proof Set.

I have the 4 individuals & a complete set. The set is in it's OGP with COA, the individuals were handled only with cotton gloves around the edges & placed into an envelope for shipping. The winner can protect them with the method they prefer. Personally, I wouldn't put a proof in a flip for safe keeping, I'd opt for an airtite. Thanks!

That is a separate envelope than the shipping envelope, they are double-wrapped.
