The listing, Pewter Box 3d flowers Vintage circa 40's has ended.

This is an old pewter Trinket Box. About 3 inches wide and 1 inch deep. This is just a gestimate, if different, will update. Circa 40's, found at estate sale, all items were same age. 3d flowers on top, a bit heavy. I have not cleaned it. Awesome find! Giving to you-Good luck and happy bidding!

Yes, it closes tight. If turned upside down, stays closed. Very secure.

if turn upside down will it stay closed and only open when the lid is picked up? I just don't want it to just open and stuff fall out that's why I asked if it closes securely.
